Are L.O.F.T. GOLF polos snag proof?
Nope, no they aren’t! Trust us, when some bored scientist invents a snag-proof moisture wicking fabric, we’ll be the first to offer it. In the meantime, our materials are the most durable on the market today.
What is Moisture Wicking material made of?
Our moisture wicking material is made up of 100% polyester which is synthetic material that has been developed specifically to channel perspiration away from the body.
What is Antimicrobial Treatment?
Antimicrobial Treatment is a non-toxic, water based solution that has been tested and found to be 99.99% effective in protecting virtually all fabrics against a variety of odor causing bacteria, fungus, and mold.
What is Antistatic Treatment?
Antistatic Treatment prevents dust from clinging to the fabric.
What does UV Sun Protection (UPF 50+) do for me?
- Sunlight includes rays of invisible ultraviolet (UV) radiation, and overexposure to UV rays can lead to sunburn, accelerated skin aging and skin cancer. Sunscreen and your clothing offer the main forms of significant UV protection.
- All fabrics disrupt UV radiation to some degree. Clothing that does the best job carries an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) value. UPF ratings range from 15 (good) to 50+ (excellent).
- Some individuals have an elevated need for UPF-rated clothing, including:
- Fair-skinned, sun-sensitive people
- Children
- People spending extended time at high elevation, in equatorial regions or on reflective surfaces (such as snow or water).
- Not everyone needs to wear UV-protective clothing to guard against sunburn. People with “average” to darker skin types rarely get sunburn on skin covered by clothing, even if they’re wearing a basic T-shirt. Even so, UPF-rated clothing enhances everyone’s protection against UV-related health risks.
How do sizes run in L.O.F.T. GOLF shirts?
You may have noticed that over the past several years, apparel sizing has been shrinking, and that's not by accident. When a company orders their textiles for manufacturing clothing, all, they just want to squeeze as many garments as possible out of those big ol' rolls of expensive fabric. How do they accomplish that? It's quite simple, really; they reduce the size of the finished product, kinda like the breakfast cereal companies did!
L.O.F.T. GOLF refuses to scrimp on any aspect of quality, INCLUDING sizing. If you purchase most top quality shirts, you'll notice that they fit like you used to remember them fitting in the past, and L.O.F.T. GOLF is no exception! Every one of our polos are "true size," which means that if you generally wear an XL in an off-brand shirt, you'll probably want to order a large from us. Not only are our shirts "true size," but they also have an additional 2" added to the trunk to ensure that they don't come untucked!
